I am soooooo in love with my iPhone. It has simplified my life to an extent - I can get through email and always have my calendar (which I can edit!). BUT it has helped make Twitter much more accessible, and I love Twitter... but the problem is - it's another "thing". I don't need another "thing" :)

I'll be curious to see what everyone has to say 6 months down the road. It's taking all I have not to run out and buy one and switch to AT&T. If in a few months everyone is still really happy with the newer version then I will most likely take the plunge.

I couldn't have imagine how much the iPhone was going to impact my life when I asked my wife for one for my birthday last year. Best birthday present EVER!

Anyway, welcome to the club. I hope you get as much out of it as I have.

I took the plunge myself. As can be expected for those well versed in the 'everything-is-as-it-should-be' world that is apple, I love being continually surprised by all of the cool things they've considered with this product. Most notably the ability to use the built-in microphone on the headphones to start you ipod, and even pause simply by squeezing a tiny piece of plastic. So cool, so easy, and SO well-designed!
